Worth it.
I recently picked up the 3DMakerPro 3D scanner, and I am quite impressed with its performance. It’s solid, compact, and sleek. It feels very premium and well-designed. A top choice for hobbyists.Setup was quick and straightforward, and once connected, it started scanning with decent accuracy. The detail capture is good, even for complex surfaces. There’s no other way to describe it!This thing is awesome! I was skeptical at first and have been 3D scanning off and on for like 20 years. Been 3D modeling since 1991 mostly Designing with 3D software.I bought the 3DMAKERPRO Moose LiteThe medium package it came with Case, Tripod, and Turntable and all connection cables and a power adapter. The Scanner looks and feels solid easy to hold on to. Ive been using the Matter&Form 3D V2 scanner for 5 years and wanted a hand held all of that time but since I Rarely used a 3D scanner.At the Price of $345.00 I thought I would give this a try and I’m pleased with the results. It’s accurate and captures the Geometry excellently.If your a beginner know this there is a learning curve don’t get frustrated just know this there’s a ton of videos and watch as many as you can. Do not bother.
We tried, but we could not get this scanner to produce an STL file that would import into any of our tools. The scanner itself was incredibly difficult to use, the software was not intuitive, and honestly, it can’t do the one thing it is supposed to do, scan an object.

Great for 3d printing. So much easier to scan than drawing it out. Easy to setup and scan your objects. Much have if you are 3d printing
