In industrial and construction settings, a surprising number of workers (especially in the US and Canada) have been caught on camera or reported by safety audits using work gloves as "temporary wallets" — stuffing cash, credit cards, IDs, or even small tools into the glove cuff or palm area so they don't have to carry a wallet in their pockets while working.
