Bright – Excellent Garage Lighting
My 3-car garage has 3 bulb sockets, and standard output lightbulbs produce inadequate lighting. I installed a 3-leaf GE version of these style of bulb, and after 2 years, one of them died. After looking at various options on Amazon, these appeared to be the lowest cost with a decent rating. Some commented that the light output is too cool, which I would agree with if these were installed indoors. Since I’m lighting the garage, the higher Kelvin color temperature is perfect. These are a bit brighter than the GE bulbs they replaced, which I appreciate.I measured 45 watts of power consumption per bulb. At my electricity rate of about 12 cents per kWh, that equates to $45/year of continuous use, or $0.12/day. Of course, these are in my garage on a motion activated 10 minute timer, so my use might be only an hour per day. These are so cheap that I expect a failure in 2 years, but I’ll update this as time progresses. So far, so good.

Major upgrade from my compact fluorescent bulbs
I haven’t had these long so I don’t know how long they will last but so far I’m very impressed. They are incredibly bright and seem well made. The material is plastic and light weight but the hinges feel strong. With 10 of these installed my workshop is as bright as daylight.

Amazingly bright
These lights are great. Our basement was so dark even with the led bulbs we had everywhere. We can now see every nook and cranny. The Mrs is none too happy, however, since she can now see all the debris and webs that have accrued over time. I’m overly happy since I can see what I’m working on down there without having to strain my eyes in dim light. We received the six pack and they all worked right out of the box. A month later with daily use, they are still working with no problems. I purchased a set for our daughters barn since I was so pleased. She too is grateful for the extra visibility especially when handling livestock.

Unbelievable lights for the money!!
These are the brightest Led lights I’ve ever purchased. They work excellent inside my shop. I took down my florescent 8′ lights and installed these, they are light and super easy to install, just screw them into a socket and light up and area, adjustable to cover any area you need light.

Easy to install and a great value.
Used these to replace caged lights in our barn stalls. A lot more light and they don’t get hot. I will be buying more for other areas on our ranch!

They are easy to install.
Very fast shipping times and packaging was very sturdy. The installation process is just like installing a regular bulb. A word of warning, if you are planning on replacing your old florescent fixtures check the old bulbs “Lumins” I made the mistake of not checking first. THIS has nothing to do with the seller!! My old fixtures all held 4 florescent bulb which were 4 feet long each. If I would have looked at the bulbs closer I would have realised that each bulb was 5400 lumins. Which simply means that I replaced a fixture that had 21,600 lumins with new one that were only 10,000 lumins. Again this is not the manufacturers nor the sellers fault at all. The new ones still give off plenty of brightness. I would recommend them.

Not that bright. Small plastic light.
Not as bright as I expected. I have a 8,000 lumen light bulb from harbor freight and these are supposed to be 24,000 lumens, beside each other they look the same as far as brightness. They are small and made of a light duty plastic housing. Not quite what I was looking for.

Very poor lifespan.
I installed 12 of these 2.5 years ago for my garage. Very bright but I doubt they are really 22000 lumen. At the time I had calculated that I would need 6 for my garage/workshop that is 24×26. I ended up with 12 and could use more (need it very, very bright for a workshop). Not a big deal since they are only $10. However, after 2.5 years, I’ve had to replace 5 of them. The ad says 50,000 hours lifespan. If I left the lights on 24 hours per day, they should last almost 6 years. I would estimate that my lights average maybe 2 hours per day (generous estimate), which equates to 1825 total hours for 2.5 years. NOT GOOD. I continue to buy the same replacement because I want them all to match and they are pretty bright. Maybe I’ll eventually get a set of 12 that will last 50,000 hours, which is a more than my lifetime at 2 hours per day.UPDATE 5/8/24: I purchased another 6 for replacements and these are a different mfr/model than what I got 2.5 years ago. Using a simple lux/cp on my phone, they are about twice as bright as the old ones at about three feet. Can’t speak to longevity yet, but I’m happier about the brightness.
