Fun Fact: Australian farmer Bill Singleton was cutting a tree when the chainsaw kicked back violently. It sliced from beside his nose, down through his face, knocked out teeth, severed part of his tongue, and went all the way to his neck and molars. Alone on his farm, he wrapped a towel around his head, drove himself 25 km to the hospital, and survived after massive blood transfusions and reconstructive surgery. He later said he planned to use a chainsaw again — just more carefully.
