Great Multicolor PLA – Worked Perfectly on My Bambu Lab P1S
This multicolor PLA filament worked great on my Bambu Lab P1S. The color transitions came out beautifully and added a really unique touch to my prints. It fed smoothly with no clogs or tangles, and the layer adhesion was spot-on.The prints came out clean and consistent, and the filament handled both detailed and larger models with no issues. It’s always fun watching the colors shift during a print!If you’re looking for a reliable multicolor PLA for your P1S, this is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be buying more!

Amazing colors and great quality
Love the color transition. This is another color filament I will keep stock. This print is approximately 5″ tall and i got a great range of the gradient colors in it. Printed flawlessly on my Bambu X1C running through AMS unit.This was my first time using Kingroon brand PLA and I’m very happy with the color and quality. I will definitely try some of their other awesome colors.

Very nice for silk
Silk can be a little tedious to work with. I didn’t feel like running a temp tower or anything. I figured I’d just take a shot. I went with 210/60 with 215 on the first layer. I always do 50mms speed on the first layer. Printed at 200 mms after that. First print was beautiful! Printed six more right after that, two at a time. One failed at the end because I’m guessing the tail moved a little bit. Overall adhesion was great though. It wasn’t stringy at all but the prints did have some very fine silk hairs throughout. I used a mini-torch from about a foot away and they vaporized in a split second. Overall very pleased with the color effects too. I’ll be buying more.

Great color transition and print quality
I really like the color and how it transitions. It’s great quality at a good price and I haven’t had any issues printiing with this filament. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again

Massive stringing
I purchased the 10 pack of Kingroon tri-color silk filament. I printed between one third to one half of each spool before writing this review.PROS: The filament printed fine. I had no issues with clogging or binding. The colors are ok, not the best, but ok.CONS: This filament is very shiny. I know it’s silk so it’s supposed to be shiny but I’ve printed with many silk filaments from different brands. They have ranged from a dull shine to very shiny. This filament has a very high shine. I prefer a lower shine. This is just a personal preference so it doesn’t matter to this review. The problem I have with this filament is the massive stringing. I’ve never seen a filament string as bad as this stuff. I routinely place new filament in my Sunlu S4 dryer for 12 hours prior to use and that’s what I did with this filament. On the first prints the stringing was terrible so I next ran the filament in the S4 for 24 hours. This helped but the stringing was still bad, worse than any filament I’ve ever used. I live in a high humidity area so I understand that I need to dry my filament, even PLA, prior to use. However, having to dry filament for 24 hours prior to use is a royal pain in the ass.Because of the reasons stated above I probably will not be buying Kingroon filament again.Update: After my review I let the remaining filament sit in dry bags with desiccant for approximately a month before using it again. Prior to use I placed the spools in my S4 for 24 hours. I wanted to use up the remaining filament so I printed a bunch of dragon scale eggs. They came out perfect. No issues at all. The colors look amazing. I’m not sure what happened with this filament. Perhaps it sat in a warehouse for a while and absorbed a lot of moisture. Anyway I added a star to my review and I’ll probably purchase Kingroon filament in the future.

Chameleon-like prints, changing colors on each viewing angle
I bought this tri-color PLA for some prints that I am currently working on, and I must say that I am liking this filament.I have been using Kingroon PLA (and other filaments) almost exclusively for a couple of months now, so when someone asked me to do some prints with multi-color filament, I jumped on the chance to buy this filament and see what it could do. Like all Kingroon filaments, I found myself please with not only the quality of product in my purchase, but the prints are just amazing. I printed a bunch of little dinosaur toys with this filament, and each angle you look at the prints shows a different color, rotating between the Red, Blue and Yellow silk pigmentation as you rotate the prints.Kingroon, you have done it again and given me more reason to keep Kingroon filaments in stock for my everyday printing, and introduced me to yet another wonderful product of yours. I hope we get to see some modified filaments soon from Kingroon (i.e. wood/metal/stone fiber mixed filaments), as I expect those will be just as great as their other plastics.*please forgive the ‘zits’ in these example photos… my other printer broke while doing these prints and I was still working through the settings of the new printer and slicer when I made these. Other prints came out a lot better, but due to timelines to get product out the door, I forgot to take photos of those ones…. rest assured, they looked WAY better than these initials ones I did.Edit: Uploaded a better picture (turtles) of one of the prints after I played with settings and got most of the seams cleaned up.

Was good for a while but QC seems to have dropped off hard.
*Updated review*For a while this stuff was my go to for dual and tricolor filament, but their QC seems to have dropped to near zero.at this point I’ve gone through 3 of their 10 packs in the past 2 months.The first had 2 bad spools in it, the second had one, and in the third I have yet to find anything that’ll actually print for more than a few hours without jamming due to the extreme variation in the width of the filament.Because of the good experiences I’ve had in the past I gave this brand a few chances, but when you have to return over $500 I think its time to call it, I’m not sure if the stuff they put in the 10 packs is worse than the single rolls, but it definitely seems like it.Hopefully the quality of their product improves in the future.———————————————————————————————————————–*Old review*I really like this stuff, Kingroon has some of the most reasonably priced dual, and tricolor filaments I’ve found and the print quality is consistently good with only a little bit of drying.However recently I’ve been running into issues where about 10-20 times per spool the filament will be wound so that it pinches between the spool and the the inner wound layer causing it to snag and be unable to feed.It hasn’t caused the filament to break, but it has snagged hard enough that my filament dryer has been pulled out of place. If i was using this on a printer without a filament sensor in the extruder this issue would have caused nearly every print from the last 12 or so spools to fail.Hopefully they’ll get the problem under control soon, I’d really like to not have to babysit the filament spool all day.

Great bundle and quality PLA
Great variety for price point. The gold, copper, red is by far my favorite color in the mix but there are definitely good selections for various projects. I like to print parts or sections using these multi-color filaments and get great results.

Great customer service
I had received a roll that had been poorly rolled. I was worried I would get no where with reaching them but I WAS WRONG!Absolutely wonder customer service. Responsive and pleasant. They are sending me a replacement and I will update the review on that one once I get to try it. The.pri t quality is beautiful. It was just.a.spoolling problem.
