Neutral, Accurate, and Fun, the Kef Meta series delivers.
I spent 6 months with the Meta R3s to get a feel for them, and decided it was time to update my HT. R3s went to the sides, so that put me down for getting an R6 and pair of R11s to make it official with center and mains.As 4ohm speakers, these will put more of a load on AVRs and weak amps than many other speakers, but if you give them the power they’re wanting?Fantastic.The R11s and R6 together put a load on my Denon receiver which led to protect mode when turning up the volume (power cycle to avoid the AVR damaging itself), but then I connected them to Fosi V3 mono blocks, and no more worries about power – these sound fantastic. The sound is neutral / natural, and articulate like nobody’s business. Movies certainly sound great, but music sounds just as great. In my room, these go down to 30Hz and I can’t emphasize enough how clean and accurate the bass is. Jazz and classical music is often suggested to make these shine, but EDM, HipHop, and Lofi is just as fun. Really anything well mastered sounds amazing on these. Good stuff.I can’t imagine doing too much better for sound than this series of speakers.

Amazing
These are the best speaker you can buy for under 20k~ a pair. You’d have to step up to the 25k pair area to start matching these.They aren’t cheap. But you get a lot for what you pay for.
